Welcome to California Country, where country and bluegrass meet folk and rock, from the beaches to the golden hills, and out on the open highway from the redwoods to the high sierra!

JohnMcG.com chronicles the musical endeavors of John McGaraghan—San Francisco Bay Area based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. John's music is born and bred in the backroads and byways of the California countryside, and it oozes with California's scenic beauty, rich history, open roads, and diverse population. It would be easy to simply call it country, folk, pop, rock, or bluegrass and move on, but none of those labels would capture the real essence of the music. Pure and simple, it's California Country!
